民国期刊记录着民国社会的多元面相。南京曾为民国首都，文化事业繁荣一时，其中，期刊之出版发行在不同时段各具景观。时代前进，南京现存的民国期刊之种类、数量在国内仍名列前茅。面对这些珍贵的民国文献，影印出版、数字化均不失为保存、利用民国文献的有效手段。依靠技术进步，民国期刊必将以多种形态走进读者，而那段尚未远去的历史亦随之生动再现。
