The Jiangsu Documents in the Republican China period in this article is defined as the published documents like propaganda materials，decrees，government work reports issued by the Jiangsu provincial government and its subordinate organs. These publishing materials are very multifarious and disorderly，whose main contents are on the government policy，laws and decrees，conferences reports，investigation reports and statistical materials，and so on. Now，we are not optimistic on current state of preservation for these documents. We should strengthen its preservation，speed up the digitalization process and publication，making these documents play the important roles on serving the reality，academic studies，and building the great culture in Jiangsu Province.
