Using clean energy to replace coal and other high pollution energy in the field of heating is an important component of China’s current energy restructuring work. Because of China’s vast territory，the north and south regions have huge difference in climate，clean energy resources，heating situation and many other aspects，need to be combined with the actual situation，to construct regional characteristics clean energy especially renewable energy heating mode. This paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions based on the analysis on the energy consumption structure in the field of heating，the current situation of clean energy heating in the north and south regions，the differences and similarities of clean energy heating in the north and south regions of China.
