On October 19，2015，Justin Trudeau，the Canadian Liberal leader，was elected as the new Canadian prime minister.In August 2016，during his visit to China，he said that China-Canada bilateral relations are particularly important，and Canada can help China to participate in international affairs with a more positive stance.At the same time，China is also important for Canada to return to the international arena.In view of this，he expressed a strong desire to work with China to create a new era of “positive cooperation”.Although most of the Canadians are skeptical and uncertain about strengthening cooperation with China， however，as Trump was elected as the president of the United States，the gap between the the United States and Canada has been highlighted.Based on this，Canada's have softened their attitude toward China gradually.Therefore，in the long run，China-Canada relations will have further development.
