As the most populous province in China，Henan displays unbalanced and multi-layered regional economic and social development level with varied and low population quality.In recent years，Henan Province has put forward a medium and long-term development strategy of achieving the historic leap from province with large population to one with dynamic economy.With the rapid development of private secondary education，many problems pop out and need to be solved at the same time.These problems are harmful to the healthy and benign development of the private secondary education.On the basis of the present situation of Henan Province private secondary education，this paper points out the existing problems from the aspects of policy environment，school running condition，self-construction，etc.In addition，this paper also analyzes the development trends of Henan private secondary education.
