Hengqin New Area is the pioneer in Guangdong-Macau Cooperation，playing an extremely important role in enriching the practice of“One Country Two Systems”with natural historical mission.Under the support from Central Government，the coverage of Macau-Hengqin Cooperation becomes gradually extensive，achieving milestones on various phrases.During 2016，the Macau-Hengqin Cooperation had been reinvigorated given the good start of the National 13th Five-Year Plan and the introduction of“Macau's Five-Year Development Plan”.Within this context，this article summarizes and concludes the new development of Macau-Hengqin Cooperation in 2016，raises the primary issues which need further improvement，and proposes policy recommendations in facilitating and deepening the development framework.
