The Chinese Cities of Opportunity 2017 Report released by PwC provides references for city development advantage and disadvantage evaluation and has gained wide social influence. According to the report，Guangzhou ranked as the top city once again. This study analyzes the index scores of Guangzhou in the reports over years，compares Guangzhou with other major cities in search of Guangzhou's strength and weak points，and puts forward countermeasures to enhance global competitiveness and influences.
