<<The thesis summarized a series of smart city construction policies and related strategies formulated by the Japanese government since the middle of 2000，and analyzed the Society5.0 strategy of the “super-smart society”which the Japanese government will promote in the future.Then described the Kashiwa-no-ha smart city project which the Hitachi company participated，discussed the characteristics about how the project chose the main themes and how to executed them.Hitachi and other partners design and implement the Area Energy Management System（AEMS） together successfully based on the unique idea of city construction.Hitachi will continue to create new business area though participating in urban development projects.
