Based on the current situation and policy of employment in Guangzhou，in this paper，we summarize the experience of unemployment insurance，employment services system，vocational skills training，graduates' employment and entrepreneurship which can boost employment opportunities. We also reflect on the functions of unemployment insurance，employment security，the quality of supply and demand of employment service，the role of government and so on.At last，it proposes some advice. Government should institutionalize the employment improvement policy，utilize the functions of unemployment security，perfect employment service system，build up vocational skill training system and promote graduates' employment.
