Against the background of economic，social and political great development，the youths of Guangzhou are also heavily affected. Confronted with social transformation and development，they face up to changes and have multiple features：in terms of value，the youths are obviously affected by traditional，modern and post-modern factors；the number of educated youths further increases as average education degree is improved gradually；they have stronger awareness of participating in political affairs and political sense. But，a majority of the youths neglect physical exercise；sub-health problem remains universal；when selecting job，the youths give preference to income，personal interest and ambition are secondary；meanwhile，they also have different changes in relationships，consumption and leisure time. On the whole，development prospect of the youths tends to be positive. Development environment where the youths have，including public place，social policy，service system，family environment，right protection and other aspects are gradually optimized. Nevertheless，we still strive for development path planning，values cultivation，wider approaches to social participation，better environment for employment and startup business，construction of vocational development platform，favorable policy environment construction and the youth-oriented service system.
