In 2016，Zhenjiang achieved a great development in social undertakings，namely high rate in employment and entrepreneurship，gradual complete in social security，balanced development of education undertakings，continuous improvement in health service level，accelerating constructions in endowment service system and quick pace in grass-roots social management innovation. The main measures taken by our government are increasing financial investment，deepening the reform and innovation，promoting the equal service，strengthening the daily monitoring. The prominent problems we faced include：the overall employment demand is not prosperous；employment pressure and social security fund sustainable operation pressure are still heavy，the construction of education reform is still a difficult task；“3d” linkagere form still needs to be deepened；the conflict between rapid aging and foot-dragging endowment in social service is sharp；social governance needs to be strengthened. Finally，we should seriously implement the spirit of the sixth plenary session of the eighteenth，the thirteenth party congress of Jiangsu province，and the seventh party congress of Zhenjiang，focus on the innovation and enrich people with overall consideration and scientific strategies. We also should try our best to do something in following six aspects：employment，social security，education，health care，pension services，social management and service work，and constantly raise the level of development of social undertakings.
