The employment of the people with disabilities is not only a direct way to improve the living conditions of them，but also has important practical significance to build a well-off society in Jiangsu province. In recent years，the government of Jiangsu province has firmly implemented a series of arrangements for the employment of persons with disabilities，taking and effective measures，increasing supportive efforts，broadening the channels of employment，effectively safeguarding the labor rights to improve the employment proportion of the people with disabilities. However，compared with the demands of economic and social development and the expectations of the disabled，there are still many problems that need to be solved in this area. Therefore，the government need to further strengthen the guidance and supervision，innovative work model，improve the level of employment services，develop anti-poverty programme in rural area，develop supporting employment for the people with disabilities，protect the employment rights of them according to law，at the same time，provide appropriate social security for the people who have limited labor capacity.
