In 2016，the volume of public opinions concerning migrant workers increased significantly，with focuses on migrant workers struggling to get their overdue payment，left behind groups in the rural Areas，business start-up by migrant workers back to their hometown，etc. Government policy measures to protect the interests of these vulnerable groups were also in the range of public attention. Throughout the past year，the hot-issue incidents include the public trial and judgement of migrant workers for illegally demanding their overdue salary in Langzhong county of Sichuan province，a Working Group from Langao county government traveling to Hebei Province to help 180 migrant workers get their overdue payment，to name but a few. The public opinions dynamic concerning migrant workers displayed a “holiday” feature. The public appeal to solve related problems needs lasting efforts.
