Located in the southern part of Addis Ababa，capital of Ethiopia，Huajian International Light Industry City started construction in 2015 with total investment of 1 billion USD. When the industry city is totally completed by 2020，it is expected to earn an annual 2 billion US dollars for the local and create 30-50 thousand jobs. Focused on light industry manufacturing and combing export processing，trade and services together，Huajian Light Industry City aims to take the lead in set up an example park for Guangdong-Africa industrial cooperation，a demonstration center for the integrated development of industry and city，and a new platform for China-Africa international production capacity cooperation in the context of the Belt and Road. Currently，Huajian Light Industry City is still under construction，with part area in operation and hosting 8 contracted enterprises. Like many other industrial parks，Huajian Light Industrial City also faces many problems，such as poor infrastructure，difficulties in financing，and shortage of talented personnel.Huajian Group is trying hard to improve its service standard and to attract investment；meanwhile，it hopes relevant departments of the Chinese government increase their support in policy guiding，investment promotion，and financial support，so as to help Chinese enterprise going abroad.
