As one of the important contents of the development of science popularization in China，the development of science popularization talent affects the formation and promotion of national science popularization ability. Therefore，in accordance with “Chinese Science Popularization Statistics” in China’s statistical data，China’s science popularization talent development indexwas conducted to assess the status of science popularization talents quantitatively and to compare the science popularization talent development in all provinces of China. The development trend of China’s science popularization talentis predicted，the relationship between China’s science policy and science popularization talentis researched，the development spots of science popularization talentare analyzed，and suggestions and countermeasures are proposed in this report.
