Since 2016，there have been some new features and new changes in the residents’ consumption demand in Jiangsu. This paper first summarized the policy measures to promote consumption in Jiangsu since 2016，and then analyzes the new characteristics and new changes of Jiangsu residents’ consumption demand，and some problems that need to be concerned about. Finally，it puts forward the suggestions to improve the consumption demand of residents.
