院校研究是以高校自身为对象的一种校本研究、微观研究。在经济社会“新常态”和高等学校“双一流”建设的历史进程中,研究型大学在办学理念、发展战略、治理结构、发展路径等方面发生了一系列的转型和转变。因此,院校研究也具有新的形态与新的特征,表现在全面诊断研究、内部治理研究、多元联合研究、内外开放研究、目标导向研究、动态跟踪研究、学科重塑研究七个方面。
