In the era of traditional media,animation and comics is a leading way for the United States,Japan and other exporters of culture to realize cultural identification all over the world. However,with the arrival of “We-Media” era,the pattern of mass culture has been reconstructed,the way of dissemination and creation of animation and comics has fundamentally changed,the traditional cultural identification function has gradually disappeared,and the United States and Japan have lost their overwhelming superiority in terms of animation and comics culture. Instead,a new form of animation and comics has emerged on the stage of the time,which is disseminated mainly through a “We-Media” platform targeting to teenagers with the features of fragmented reading,parody and deconstruction. This new form of animation and comics has not only shaped a brand new industrial patterns of animation and comics,but also fundamentally changed the way of realizing cultural identification function of animation and comics. Within the new cultural context,if Chinese animation and comics industry can effectively adjust the industrial patterns and creative thoughts according to the features of “We-Media”,it has a chance of leaving from the traditional status of being low-end contractors to occupy a position of strategic importance in cultural industry so as to effectively spread and construct both local culture and global culture.
