叙利亚地处中东地区的中心地带，一直都是以美国为首的西方国家的关注焦点。随着2011年年初叙利亚内战的爆发，美国在中东的战略优势进一步被削弱。因此，美国为维护自身政治利益和经济利益，不惜借叙利亚危机发力。本文以美国对中东的战略性布局为切入点，首先回顾了美国在叙利亚危机之前对中东及叙利亚的政策规划和战略调整，廓清美国对待此次危机所采取的主要手段，归纳美国的战略出发点和着力点，从而分析美国在此次危机中的角色定位。
<<Syria is located in the heart of the Middle East，and it has been in the focus of the us-led western countries. In the beginning of 2011，as the outbreak of the Syrian civil war，the strategic advantage of the US in the Middle East weakened further. As a result，the US uses the Syrian issue for the sake of its own political and economic interests. This article takes the strategic layout of the US on the Middle East as the breakthrough point，reviewing the policy planning and strategy adjustments of the US on the Middle East as well as Syria before the crisis，concluding the main method of the US to treat the crisis，summing up the starting point and the focus of its strategy，so as to analyze the role of the US in the crisis.
