To boost the overall implementation of the two-child policy and promote the construction of mother and child rooms in public places in Guangzhou，the research of the construction management of mother and child rooms in public places is carried out in Guangzhou. The findings indicate that the construction in Guangzhou has made some achievements，but there do have some problems such as a shortage in recognition，quantity，unified standards，and sound service and management. The essay advises to build a linkage to form a social joint force and boost an overall development in construction management of mother and child rooms in public places by adhering to the basic principle of “government-leading，multiple construction，market operation and orderly advancement”.
