Under the background of agricultural modernization，promoting the modernization of Science in coastal area of aquaculture is majoring practical significance for development. This paper selected in 2015 China’s 11 coastal provinces aquaculture related data，building evaluation system of coastal area industry modernization using multi index comprehensive index method，and to the industry modernization development level in coastal area was calculated，a comprehensive comparison of the level of development of provinces industry modernization. The results show that，in 2015 China’s coastal areas industry modernization development at the preliminary stage of development，various provinces and cities industry modernization development difference significant. According to the development status and existing problems，puts forward countermeasures and suggestions，in order to provide reference for the industry modernization development in coastal areas.
