Women are at an inferior position in job market. The stress caused by the unpromising economy situation，combined with the transformation of the economy structure and the escalation of industry definitely widened the boundaries of women’s employment，but also magnified the limitations and obstacles. The pressure，along with the risk and vulnerability of job seeking escalated. Women’s employment situation is profoundly related to the stability of their family，their children’s education，their dignity，as well as the development of the society，for that women work an indispensible part in both family and society. The data and statistic results in this article were collected and supported by conducting questionnaire research in Chengdu. The article focused on the feature and pressure of women’s present employment situation during present’s transitional stage of employment structure，analyzed and compared the characteristics of traditional labor-oriented job positions and newly developed service-oriented job position and women’s cognition and anticipation of present as well as their optimal employment scenario. Finally，it proposed some political support to improve the present situation of women’s employment.
