城市治理是国家治理的重要组成部分，城市治理现代化是国家治理现代化的基础。调查发现，当前河南省城市治理基本状况和居民诉求之间存在着较大差距。政府必须不断更新治理理念、创新治理机制、丰富治理结构、完善治理手段，全面提升城市治理精细化、智能化、现代化水平，不断满足城镇居民的基本诉求，提升城市治理有效性。
<<Urban governance is an important part of national governance，Modernization of urban governance is the basis of national governance modernization. The survey found that there is a big gap between the current situation of urban governance in Henan province and the demands of residents. We must renew the concept of governance innovation，governance mechanism，governance structure，enrich governance means，promote the city governance，intelligent and modernization level，and meet the basic demands of urban residents，improve the city governance effectiveness.
