The supply side reform and green development prove to be a catalyst for forest recuperation generation and development timely under the New normal in Sichuan，China. As a big province of forest resource，where forest recuperation has been generated and widely spread，Sichuan integrated forest recuperation as emerging strategic industries into contents of suggestions for the 13th Five-year Plan on national economic and social development. This received fully affirmative and welcome of the community，and made contributions to radiation development of forest recuperation around country. This paper analyses and explains the conceptions，significant of development on forest recuperation. 12 major events，progress，main problems and challenges related to forest recuperation have been highlighted. It also discusses outlook forest recuperation industry development to 2017 in Sichuan.
