In the year 2016，the Sino-Japanese trade volume fell by 1.3% to 74.8 billion dollar and Japan’s FDI to China decreased by 3.1% to 3.1 billion dollars. With the trade volume and investment reducing and the desire of enterprises for further business cooperation declining，there are still obvious signs for the recovery of Sino-Japanese economic relations. According to the questionnaire survey conducted by JETRO，Japanese enterprises，which express their willingness to expand the business in China，has increased slightly from 38.1% to 40.1%. China and Japan share trade complementarity，and the desire of Japanese companies for developing the Chinese market has not decreased. The business cooperation between Japan and China has been extended to areas such as manufacturing upgrading，energy conservation，environment protection，healthcare and culture，in which Japan has already gained much experience in solving problems. Japanese enterprises are actively taking part in their China business development by effectively making use of their advantages in technology，experience and know-how.
