As for the economic and trade development in 2016，Sino-Japanese relations have been improved with the fragile momentum，complicated situation and sensitive issues. The bilateral relations have entered a key phase of “no progress means regression”，when negative factors still affect economic and trade cooperation. As for the economic and trade cooperation outlook in 2017，on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of normalization of Sino-Japanese relations，there are opportunity for the development of China and Japan，and it is recommended that both countries work together with insight and sense of responsibility，attempt to overcome difficulties and deepen exchanges and cooperation in various fields in order to improve the bilateral relations.
