The results of survey for “carrying forward core socialist values and inheriting traditional culture” and cultural development in 2016 show that the state of public cognition and identification for core socialist values generally goes well. This indicates that Chinese cultural construction and development has made some achievements and the implementation of core socialist values has made significant progress. But there are also outstanding questions of public emotional identification，which mainly take on that the core socialist values have not exhibited sufficient charms to the public，and that the public have not full confidence in the realization of values such as fairness. This report analyzes the causes of these problems and puts forward appropriate countermeasures and suggestions.
