Honesty is one of China’s political ideologies and social ethics since the ancient times. As an important ethical and political value，honesty carries rich ideological resources；today it still helps unite the people and maintain social justice；in the twenty-four-word socialist values proposed recently，honesty is put on the strategic level of state ideology and spiritual civilization，which not only consolidates a new theoretical foundation for honesty values，but also indicates the direction for its further development and enhancement.
