Digital Library Promotion Project was officially launched in May 2011, as one of the three People-oriented Digital Culture Projects during the 12th Five-year Plan period. The project will build a digital library virtual network covering nationwide, construct distributed digital library resource repository, and support the users to access to library services anytime and anywhere through many terminals like computers, digital TV, mobile phones.
