目前,国家形象研究是国内外学术界关注的热点课题之一,其内涵丰富、范围甚广。梳理国内外学术界的研究现状,评价已有的研究成果,进而探讨未来国家形象研究的趋势。通过对既有学术文献的梳理,我们发现,在国家形象研究领域,国外学术界逐步将政治学、心理学、传播学、社会学的概念和分析范式引入国家形象研究,其内容主要涵盖三个方面:一是从国际关系学角度研究国家形象及其对外交政策的影响,二是关注国家形象与商业行为之间的关系,三是传播学视域下国家形象的研究。在国内,学术界对国家形象的研究,主要目的是扩大国际话语权、提升国际影响力,是对中国“和平崛起”这一现实需求的回应。因而国内的国家形象研究,集中在政治学与传播学领域,主要涉及三个方面:国家形象的构建、传播和评估。展望未来,国家形象研究的趋势主要体现在以下四个方面:第一,实现两个跨越——跨国界、跨学科;第二,实现理论研究与实践研究的统一;第三,实现全球化和网络化两个方面的拓展;第四,实现政治性与科学性相统一。
<<Currently,national image research is considered as one of the hottest research topics in the world,which involves rich content and covers wide range. This report aims to card the research status of national image at home and abroad,evaluate the existing research results,then discuss trends of national image research. Through combing the academic literature,we find that foreign scholars gradually use concepts and analytical paradigms in politics,psychology,communication,sociology to analyze national image. And the research content primarily covers three ways:firstly,discussing national image and its impact on foreign policy from the perspective of international relations;Secondly,concerning the relationship between the national image and business practices;Thirdly,national image research in the perspective of communication science. In China,the main purpose of national image research is to expand the international discourse and enhance the international influence. It is also the response of the real demand about “China’s peaceful rise”. So national image research in China concentrates on the fields of political science and communication studies,mainly covers three aspects,including national image’s building,the communication strategies of national image and the evaluation of national image. Looking ahead,the authors think that trends of national image research are reflected in four ways:the first is achieving cross-discipline and cross-border research,the second is achieving the unity of theoretical and practice research,the third is expanding research ideas from globalization and networking,The fourth is achieving political and scientific unity.
