As the builder of Chinese socialism，the new social stratum as widely concerned by the whole society is the important force for building the harmonious society. The political participation of the new social stratum is the core issue at the national level. Through the survey of 3571 new social stratums of Henan Province，the article analyzes the situation，characteristics and problems of the new social stratum’s political participation of Henan Province. According to the interview，the article investigates the internal characteristics of the new social stratum and influencing factors. Finally，the article puts forward some suggestions on how to improve the political participation of the new social stratums of Henan Province from the perspective of the state，government and local as well as the current strategy of economic and social development.
