During the first decade of this century，the vocational education in Henan was achieved the scale expansion，2009-2010 academic year reach maximum number registered in the school. Since then，the scale gradually narrowed into rational development period. Facing the historical task of constructing the system of modern vocational education，Henan has a good subjective and objective environment，but there are still some problems such as lacking of excellent teachers，no perfect vocational education system and disconnect of education form and the actual problem. Through the investigation and study，this paper analyzes the present situation and development trend of vocational education in Henan，and puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions.
