This report details the danger many female workers are facing in the global media industry for the first time，describes several types of violence and threat that female journalists have been through，and studies how it affects their ability to work，hoping to seek a way to solve the problem of female reporters’ safety. Related issues including violence and harassment，physical threats，sexual threats and digital threats，the location where the behaviors are implemented and the identities of the main perpetrators. In addition，respondents also answered what measures are taken now in their news organizations，to prevent and stop the violence or harassment against them. It is important to note that the goal of this study is to assess the nature and frequency of the violence type which female journalists encountered，rather than measure the number of those women who encountered this kind of event. At the end of the report，it provides advice for both individuals and institutions，including how to reduce the risk in the adverse environment，how to create a safe working environment in the agency，etc.
