The number of SMEs accounts for 90% of total number of enterprises in central provinces.As an important way to solve the unemployment problem,they play an important role in economic development in the central region.Technological innovation is the driving force for SMEs' sustainable development.By evaluating SMEs' technological innovation in the central region,analyzing the present situation,introducing evolution paradigm to analyze their technological innovation behaviors,the paper points out different patterns of technological innovation according to classical cases of innovation,market environment and own characteristics and proposes ten suggestions for policy-making. <<
