This paper calculates carbon footprint of the industries in Shanxi industry with Kaya formula and hence gives a definition for high energy-consuming industries.With decomposition model the author makes a quantitive analysis about the high energy-consuming industries' contribution of carbon footprint during 1994~2010 and concludes that the promotion of economic growth increases carbon dioxide emissions and technological introduction helps to decrease carbon dioxide emissions,which implies that in the future Shanxi urgently need to increase energy efficiency and optimize industrial structure in order to decrease carbon dioxide. <<
