To explore the feature of community well-being in the process of urbanization,we conducted questionnaire and depth interview methods together to study the well-being index of Shi-Liangzi Community. In the quantitative research,we used multistage stratified sampling and 195 participants were investigated via Urban Well-being Index Questionnaire(UWIQ). The results indicated that the overall score and field scores of urbanization residents were higher than the average of national scores,the satisfaction scores row from high to low are relationship with others,culture,environment,economy,politics and health. Additionally,the depth interviews with 11 residents showed that interpersonal harmony,good environment,improvement of cultural level,limited access of government affairs,limited improvement of income,lag of medical development,tourism development policy,economic development are the reason why well-being indices are high but not balanced.
