In the field of social sciences，it is widely believed that “community” is a vague concept，but sociologists，anthropologists，urban planning experts are very interested in building such a framework：through the promotion of respect for the diversity of community members in order to enhance the sense of community. However，social empirical and theoretical research has recently，revealed the sense of community is a dialectical relationship with the diversity of community members：the most cohesive communities，almost never most diversity. Respect for diversity even ran counter to strengthen a sense of community. The focus of this paper is how to understand the diversity among the community members，and how to foster a sense of community between neighbours through community organization and development.
