The Henan province is in a critical period of crossing the middle-income trap，meanwhile the pattern of economic development and power economic relations is changing. It is necessary to study the new trend of the power economic relations，and to provide support for energy and power strategy making. Starting research with the mechanism of middle-income trap，this paper analyzes the power economic characteristics of the countries trapping into and successfully crossing the middle-income trap. The paper elaborates the Henan province’s economic and power change trend in the process of crossing middle-income.
