The comprehensive competitiveness of the hospitals in southern China ranks third in the seven regions，especially in prefecture-level cities，more hospitals are on the list and the competitiveness index is high，but the geographical distribution of the medical resources in the region is unreasonable. Most of the medical resources are concentrated in Guangdong Province. From the equilibrium degree of the distribution of high-quality medical resources provincially，Guangdong is the most uneven province，high-quality medical resources are concentrated in Guangzhou City；from the equilibrium degree of hospitals distribution in prefecture-level and county-level cities，Guangdong is better than Guangxi and Hainan.
