In this paper，China’s Provincial Capital City hospitals service ability has been evaluated comprehensively. From the regional distribution of Top 100 Capital City hospitals，eastern area’s hospitals are on the top while western areas’ are on the bottom. Among all the seven regions，Eastern China areas are also in the lead while Northern China areas are in the end. Provincial Capital City hospitals in Hubei，Shanxi，Sichuan，Guangdong provinces have a comparative competitiveness While which in West and remote areas like Qinghai，Ningxia，Xinjiang，Inner Mongolia provinces are less competitive. The imbalance of Provincial Capital City hospitals’ development demands an urgent solution.
