The revision of the Budget Law in August 2014 represented many major breakthroughs in budgetary administration，review，and supervision，and became an important milestone in the scientization，democratization and legalization of budgetary administration and supervision. Since the revision of Budget Law，the People’s Congress of Sichuan Province has carried out effective explorations under the framework of the Law on how to implement the Law in its concrete work by focusing on priorities and innovation on methods. This report introduces some of the successful practices of Sichuan People’s Congress in budgetary review and supervision，analyzes the main difficulties and problems in the current budgetary review and supervision work at the national level and puts forward some suggestions on how to better implement the Budget Law and strengthen budgetary review and supervision in China.
