This report introduces the work carried out by the Government of Sichuan Province in implementing the strategic decisions made by the Central Government on ruling the country by law，comprehensively and thoroughly advancing the strategy of ruling the province by law，and speeding up the construction of the system of rule of law in the province，analyzes the main methods，characteristics，highlights，and achievements of such work in the fields of exercising the ruling power by law，scientific legislation，administration by law，judicial fairness，and social governance，summarizes the practical experience gained by the Province in taking the comprehensive and thorough advancement of the work of ruling the province by law as an important part of coordinated implementation of the “Four Comprehensive Strategy”，developing the implementation method of “Four Beams and Eight Columns”，and forcefully advancing the basic strategy of ruling the country by law in the province，and looks at the prospects of future development of the rule of law in the province.
