With 604 farmers in Qihe County as the sample，according to different age group，this paper first analyzes the basic situation of their age，education background，occupation，income and expenditure，then analyzes new urbanization town will and interest claim of the farmers，and then analyzes the factors which influence the farmers settled in town，at last puts forward policy recommendations on how to promote the new urbanization process. The conclusions are in follows：the trend of will of farmers settled in town decreases with their age increases；the county city is farmers’first choice；the education of their child is the primary factor which influence the will of settled in town and the high pressure of living cost is big obstacle to prevent farmers settled in town.
