For the past few years，corruption has become one of most critical forefront issues，and more and more psychologists have drawn their attention to research on culture and corruption. The present article attempts to review the definitions，indicators and measures of corruption from the perspective of culture. There are several definitions of corruption. “Misuse of the public power” is generally accepted. Because of the concealment of corruption，some proxy indicators were often employed to reflect and represent corruption reality，such as corruption perception，corruption experience，attitudes towards corruption，corrupt intention，and so on. Various self-report measures and scenarios were developed to explore the relationship between culture and corruption indicators. The game theory and big data technology are two potential orientation to interpret culture and corruption.
