Due to the traditional filial piety culture，family pension，self pension has been the main form of the Chinese old people. At present，with the development of social economy，the social pension，business pension and other forms of pension gradually increased. According to the economic level of urban and rural residents aged in Minnan area sample survey data analysis，economic factors（annual average per capita income）and pension showed a certain correlation；but the pension in rural and urban areas showed different characteristics. The modern social security system is a product of industrialization，and the establishment of a modern security system covering the agricultural population is an inevitable trend of social development.
