进入互联网时代后,国际性通讯社对当今世界新闻信息传播仍起到主渠道作用。突发事件报道是中外通讯社重要的角力场,也是外国通讯社借机抹黑和歪曲中国形象的重要载体。本研究通过对中外六大国际性通讯社对“东方之星”号客轮翻沉事件文字报道进行梳理和编码,着重分析了六大通讯社有关报道的总体情况。本研究发现,中外通讯社对沉船事件基本情况均积极关注,但在报道体裁、报道数量、关注焦点、人物主体、消息源等方面的差异反映了中外通讯社在报道立场上的本质区别。建议政府部门应做好突发事件信息发布工作,强化服务意识,从情绪管理和公共关系维护的角度影响媒体报道,通过行业自律组织和专业规范约束不负责任的报道。
<<International news agencies continue to play a major role in world’s dissemination network of news and information after the advent of the Internet era. Reporting of emergency incidents serves as an important arena for competition between domestic and overseas news agencies and an important vehicle for overseas news agencies to defame China and distort its image. This study analyzes overall reporting on capsizing of tourist ship “Eastern Star” during relevant emergency response operations after combing and coding text reports by six major international news agencies. This study concludes that both domestic and foreign news agencies paid attention to basic facts of the incidents proactively but with differences on types of reports,number of reports,focuses of reports,figures in reports,and sources of information,which reflects intrinsically differences of reporting stances between domestic and overseas news agencies. It’s suggested that authorities do a good job in information issuance on emergencies,reinforce service doctrine,influence media reports via mood management and public relations and restrain irresponsible reports by self-discipline bodies and professionalism.
