This article generalizes the related practices about the foreign media convergence from 2015 to 2016. Overall,the most significant feature is the rise of digital media. Mobile advertising now tops desktop,while journalism organizations have been put aside. The newspaper sector had the worst seasons since the recession. After a round of reshuffling of media ownership,the situation is still not optimistic,however,attempt in digital transformation had reconstructed the idea of newspaper media convergence. Crossing boundaries is becoming a new path for TV landscape,which continues its shifting of time and space,with more delayed,on-demand and digital viewing of TV programming than ever before. As digital audiences expanded and moved beyond news websites to social media,mobile display ad revenue is dominated by top group of five internet tech-companies,challenging traditional structure of reporting news and transmitting messages. As time goes by,smart phone which is the perfect combination of socialization and mobilization will be an competitive entrance to the future for all media.
