Since the beginning of the new century，Singapore has adhered the 15-year Renaissance City Plan，which aims to promote the city’s leap from industrial to knowledge-based economy through development of culture. The plan build Singapore into an “21st Century Renaissance City”，which is a regional culture，design and media center，and at last become one of the international cultural center city. This paper reviews a series of policies and literary programs adopted by the Singapore government during the Renaissance in Singapore，aims to provide reference for the development of Chinese metropolitan art and cultural industries.
