There are some good basis and potentials in the foreign trade of traditional Chinese medicine industry in Sichuan province，but there are other unfavorable conditions，such as the unreasonable structure of products，excessive concentration of the market. It should be put more efforts in various levels to make industry development planning，industry concentration，improvement of quality level，increase international exchanges，expand international markets，and increase policy support，which will open a new picture for foreign trade of traditional Chinese medicine industry in Sichuan Province.
