Since the Central Economic Work Conference is held in 2015，A “Supply Side Structural Reform” which regard “three eliminate one reduce one make up” as the content （which is eliminating inventory，eliminating production capacity，eliminating lever，reducing costs，making up the short board）is being carried out in all walks of life.

This reform is not only aiming at easing the contradiction between supply and demand，but also for the purpose of eliminating outdated production capacity，eliminating excess capacity，promoting industrial restructuring and upgrading. Therefore，Sichuan as an important western province which has huge economic output，what is the progress of the “Supply Side Structural Reform” like at present？How to deal with the relationship between eliminating inventory and maintaining normal turnover？How to cope with the relationship between eliminating production capacity and steady growth？How to handle the relationship between eliminating lever and corporate expansion？How much the room is there to reduce costs？How to choose “Making Up the Short Board” path？The above-mentioned problems are not only theoretical problems，but also practical problems that need to be solved urgently. With regards to these issues，the author analyzes the present situation，characteristics，problems and causes of the “Supply Side Structural Reform” in Sichuan，and then puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions after taking 105 listed Sichuan companies in the first half of 2016 as specimen.
